Day two
From Darling Harbour we caught the light rail to Glebe, to find the Clipper Café (16 Glebe Point Road) – listed on Concrete Playground as one of the best breakfast cafes in Sydney. It didn’t disappoint. We both ordered baked eggs, The Wolf had chorizo and I had mushrooms. It was light filled, swarming with daffodils and Irish accents.
Next adventure – a bus to Dues Ex Machina, The House of Simple Pleasures, to ooh and ahh over the industrial space oozing with art and motorbikes.
From the Town Hall we ambled to Hyde Park and then walked the entire length of Oxford Street. We visited a stunning art gallery in 5 ways filled with innovative contemporary art and continued to spend imaginary money, choosing prints from the Dr Seuss gallery.
