Day four.
Today is the 2nd day of the I Can Do It Hay House Sydney event and us 3 curly top girls have tickets. Doreen Virtue is the outstanding star of the day. I swear she is part mermaid, part living angel. She is beautiful, inspiring and mesmerizing. She speaks of light, love and truth and urges us to let go of everything we think we believe, to let the miracles unfold in this massive time of change. She encourages us to listen our intuition, to trust that when everything in us is repelled by people who are inauthentic, that we are doing the right thing by moving away from them. Fakers are filled with fears and their darkness often tries to put out our light. We have to shine and tell the truth no matter what the
consequences.
Lunch is sushi in the sun, on the Convention Centre steps after a book signing where we got to meet Doreen, briefly talk to Cheryl Richardson and (insert squeal) Louise Hay.
Don Miguel Ruiz gives a cute and calming talk about celebrating life, love and light, and Neale Donald Walsch humorously reminds us that the purpose and function of our life is greater than we can ever perceive.
We choose another great bar at Darling Harbour for a drink, and catch up on The Wolf’s day out. He had a manly day in Manly and revisited Surrey Hills.
Dinner in Chinatown is cheap and cheerful. We choose 9 dragons – 39 Dixon St Haymarket – because it has the best vegetarian options. Before we say goodbye to the girls we line up for hot custard balls (perhaps more politely known as Emperor’s Puffs from Emperor’s Garden Cake and Bakery, Haymarket.) This is a must do Sydney experience. They are delicious. Half of the delight is watching them being made by some crazy robot waffle machine. They cost $1 for 4.
